I just have to say......is this not beautiful?!!!????
This is the Easter cross in front of Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church. I am proud to say that my husband and daughter played a part in making it so gorgeous. If you look closely you can see that there were some large butterflies added to the cross this year.
In addition to the cross, the dogwood behind it is just glorious this year. Pictures cannot do it justice. I'm not sure how old it is but it is one of the biggest dogwoods I've ever seen and I think every bit of it bloomed this year. What wonderful timing!
I hope that all of you are having an extra special Easter Sunday. Remember to thank God for the wonderful and beautiful things in nature that he's given us, but most of all remember to thank him for sending his Son to save us.
Oh Kristi,,, I will have to take a trip done PS Dr just to view this cross while it is still fresh... absolutely beautiful!!! It portrays the newness of life offered to us because of the resurrection.. Thank you for sharing
