Bay Oaks Quilt Guild in Diamondhead, Mississippi invites your members to visit our upcoming quilt show, "Pride of the Gulf," to be held on April 13th and 14th in Bay St. Louis, MS. The basic details are at the end of this invite as well as on the attached flyer. It would be grand if you would pass this info on to your members and/or include it in your guild newsletters. The show is being held in Bay St. Louis' Old Town and the Saturday date coincides with the monthly "Second Saturday Art Walk" celebration in the Bay.
So come visit our show, enjoy the beautiful quilts, dine in one of the nearby restaurants, and then head on over to Main Street where you can delight in the charming ambience of Old Town as local shops and galleries extend their hours from 4 pm to 8 pm. Open houses by merchants feature refreshments, music, special appearances by guest artists and an opportunity to mingle with visitors and area residents while viewing creations by local artists and craftsmen. Paintings, mixed media, photography, pottery, jewelry and antiques are just a taste of the unique treasures on offer during this festive monthly tradition.
